Then and Now Images of Sapulpa...

Located on the northwest corner of Hobson and Elm:
  • (Then) The France Hotel opened on July 22, 1909; the building is no longer in existence.
  • (Now) Custom Woodworks at 221 E Hobson Ave.

From what we can tell, there was not a lot of information in the newspapers, but an article in 1946 remarked "France Hotel has been razed for salvage." And a 1937 article mentioned the owner, C.C. Warren, planned to convert it to an apartment building.
