What a busy month for your local museum!

Tourism: The furthest visitor outside of Sapulpa (for this month):
  • In Oklahoma:  Noble (approx. 119 miles away),
  • In U.S.: Susanville, California (approx. 1,730 miles away),
  • In the World: Rotherham, United Kingdom (approx. 4,447 miles away).

Announcements:
  • This month the Historical Society have been very social in and out of the museum:
    • We had joined volunteers, members, workers in multiple museums across the northern part of Oklahoma. We joined the NECOMA (North-East Central Oklahoma Museum Association) meeting held in Bartlesville this year.
    • We also joined other volunteers in Creek County for RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) luncheon - with Penny Woolery, the Creek County RSVP Coordinator - for the 60s theme in fashion, music, and culture!
  • We also had a difficult month. We lost a few of our dear friends these last few weeks. One of the founding members, David Main, past away this month. In addition, two of our beloved volunteers have stepped down due to illness. We love all our amazing volunteers. Thank you to our many friends here at the Sapulpa Historical Museum.
